It’s our most advanced energy monitoring system and works well for buildings where the greatest electrical load is from heating/ventilation/air conditioning systems. You’ll get daily scorecards summing up vial energy data at a glance.
How Energy Expert works
PGE gathers interval load data from your site, and NorthWrite® software automatically compiles the information into report form. The easy-to-use computer program trains itself to create a “smart model” of your building, and it compares daily electricity consumption and weather data against this norm. You’ll get:
Daily scorecards
See a concise daily summary of your electricity usage compared with the expected norm, a load profile for the day, savings calculations, and a five-day weather forecast that highlights possible peak energy-usage days.
Month-at-a-glance load profiles
Immediately spot trends and problems, such as systems left running unnecessarily.
Extensive interactive load-profile charts
Explore your energy use patterns in depth, pinpoint areas for improvement and quickly see the impact of operational changes.
Exception reporting
Next-day e-mail or pager notifications alert you when your energy use falls outside of expected levels. You can react quickly to minimize energy waste and control costs.
All of the data is archived on the Web. The information is private and secure.
Bill Management option gives bigger picture
Energy Expert with our Bill Management option offers expanded capabilities. With this enhanced version of Energy Expert you can:
- Automatically track and view billing data from all of your utilities, standardized to a calendar month
- Automatically benchmark your facility against the ENERGY STAR® building performance standards from Environmental Protection Agency
- Compare buildings
- Look at multi-year comparisons of energy expenses
- Track performance history
Costs
The monthly fee for Energy Expert is $70 per meter*. For Energy Expert with Bill Management the monthly fee is $95 per meter.
This is based on one to five meters; contact PGE for special pricing information if you have more than five meters.
